A Russian citizen and an Italian citizen have been charged, and one has been arrested, after U.S. authorities said they stole trade secrets from GE Aviation.
Alexander Yuryevich Korshunov, 57, and Maurizio Paolo Bianchi, 59, were charged in August. The criminal complaint was unsealed Thursday.
On Aug. 30, Korshunov was arrested at the Naples International Airport in Italy. Both men work in the aviation industry. Bianchi was the former director at an Italian subsidiary of Evandale-based GE Aviation.
