Australia’s domestic airlines face challenging times – Business


Virgin Australia staff are nervously awaiting for the axe to fall after the airline failed to make a profit for the seventh year in a row. The nation’s biggest airline Qantas has seen its profits slashed this year by rising fuel costs and flat passenger demand. The Transport Workers Union says the airline industry is in crisis.
